Be careful when you’re driving
lest you run into the man.
While your eyes are on the prize,
the man has a plan.
His words are smooth
for he is cunning, very deceptive.
But don’t believe him,
your demise is his only objective.
Pay attention when you stop at the light,
for his moves are subtle, swift.
And receive nothing from him
even if he insists it’s a gift.
He paces alongside the road
looking for a chance to get in.
And he can do it when you lose focus;
he will do it when you sin.
And remember:
Always study your driver’s manual;
its words are your abode,
So you won’t be deceived
by the man on the road.
