Tell Your Story

Everyone has a story. At some point you may be the villain, but all the time the protagonist. You don’t always know when you’re the bad guy; may find out much later. But the story is all about you and you’re the star. As long as you live, the pages keep turning, and what is written is dictated by you.

Unfortunately, you don’t always appreciate your story because you don’t know the value of it. You may, at some point, let other people tell it, and they’ll probably get it all wrong, but if you don’t tell it yourself, their story will stand. You have a voice, you know, though sometimes it gets muted by fear and oppression. But all seasons change eventually, and what was once bound gets loosed. That includes your voice. When you can speak, open your mouth. But first, learn your story so you can tell it accurately. You have the right to be remembered as you really are.

Who are you? Only you know. Well, God knows best, but He won’t be speaking for you. You’ll be speaking for yourself. So, if you don’t know you, seek Him and find you. It’s time to come out of darkness. Ignorance is not bliss; it destroys. Don’t let anyone tell you who you are. You are who you choose to be. Own whoever you choose. Be real in a fake world. You speak the loudest when you choose to be different. And you are different when you choose to be you.
